1. How do I get started?

To join the Original Diamonds affiliate program, all you need to do is read the affiliate agreement and fill out the application form. As soon as that's done, you may be approved immediately. We will then send you your ID and password, which you can use to log into the affiliate partner area. After that, all you need to do is cut and paste the HTML code provided for you and set up the link. For a selection of Original Diamonds affiliate banners and links, click here.

2. How does the program work?

The affiliate (you) places the link or links to your website. You can place as many of Original Diamonds links, banners and the Diamond Search and Quotation Engine on as many web pages of your site as you like. It is recommended you create a frame, redirection link or pop on your site for the Diamond Search and Quotation Engine so clients can fully use Original Diamonds service on your web site.

With your Diamond Affiliate ID, we can track all the clicks and visitors you send us. So, after a visitor is redirected from your site to ours or uses the frame off your site, we record that this visitor came from you. Then, when that visitor makes a confirmed purchase you receive commission.

Each visitor sent by you receives a cookie that remains active for 100 days, allowing us to track and pay you for the purchases made by that visitor, even if he/she comes back to Original Diamonds directly within 100 days from the initial click through.

3. Who is eligible to become an Original Diamonds affiliate?

We welcome all sites to join our program. It will help if your site's is well trafficked and the content is luxury product or sales related, but that is not necessary. However, we do reserve the right to suspend or make changes to the affiliation at any time.

4. How much does it cost to join the program?

Absolutely nothing! There is no application fee, set-up costs and, most importantly, no minimum sales requirement. You just create the Frame or place our banners to your web site.

5. Can I link to other Jewelry or Diamond sites if I join the Original Diamonds affiliate program?

We believe that once you affiliate with us, you will have no more need for another Diamond or Jewelry partner. However, we place no restrictions on your site's links and actually encourage our affiliates to join programs and create links, which are complementary to the content on their site.

6. How do I get cheaper rates for my family, my friends and myself?

The key here is to come to the Original Diamonds web site through your affiliate link when making a purchase. This way you will receive your standard commission, which you keep.

7. How are bookings tracked to my site?

All links from your site to Original Diamonds contain your unique affiliate ID code, so that every time a user comes to us via your site, we know to credit you when a confirmed purchase is made. Make sure that all links on your site are created using the HTML code generated for you, so that all visitors are tracked correctly.

8. What is a "confirmed purchase"?

After a purchase is made, there is a chance that it may be cancelled or amended. Therefore, we credit our affiliates 30 days after the client has received the goods. This is to ensure that all financial transactions have been carried out and the final purchase value confirmed and payments have been authorized and in good faith.. Your commission will then be credited to your account.

9. How much do I get paid?

For every CONFIRMED purchase that you refer to Original Diamonds from your affiliate link, the commission structure is as follows in United States Dollars on actual invoice price. Excluding handling charges.

0 to $500 - 2 %
500 to $2500 - 2.2%
$2500 to $4000 - 2.1%
$4000 to $6000 - 2 %
$6000 to $8000 - 1.9%
$8000 to $12000 - 1.8%
$12000 to $50000 - 1.5%
Above $50 000 - 1.2%

10. Do I earn commissions from my own purchases?

Yes. You can earn commissions on any purchases that you, your friends, family and customers make from visiting Original Diamonds through your web site's affiliate links to us.

11. How do I get paid?

Original Diamonds affiliates have a choice of getting paid in any currency you wish: as long as it is US Dollars (USD) converted at the Australian bank rate (AUD) as selected when you sign up. Payments are made monthly, in the first 7 days of each month. You also have 2 options of how you receive your commission: Cheque or Direct Deposit. The minimum amounts paid are: USD 100 for cheques and USD 500 for direct deposit. If you do not reach the minimum payment amount in any given month, the amount earned is rolled over to the next month, until you have enough to qualify for payment.

12. How will I monitor my sales and commission?

As per Affiliate Agreement section 5.5 - The Company will keep an audit of all transactions subject to this Agreement. The Company will provide the Diamond Affiliate with a tracking area, which will show the number of clicks through, booking requests and confirmed bookings submitted by users referred by the Diamond Affiliate. The Diamond Affiliate will also have access to payment reports, which will show the estimated amount earned and payment history. This area will be updated in real time.

13. How do I set up my links?

It's very simple. Once you are approved, simply login to the Original Diamonds affiliate area using your Diamond Affiliate ID and password. Select the link(s) you like (remember, you can use as many links as you like), cut and paste the HTML code into your web page and you are done. 14. What if I don't like any of the links Original Diamonds has to offer?

No problem. You are free to modify the links, search boxes and banners we have at any time to fit in with your web site. In fact, we will help you customize your links to suit your site if you ask us.

15. Can I change and update my links?

Absolutely. You can make any changes at any time, for whatever reason you choose. We also recommend that you check the affiliate Diamond Affiliate area regularly, as we may add or modify our selection of links and banners.

16. Where should I put my links?

There are various ways of putting your links on your site to maximize your chances of earning a commission. Here are some suggestions:

On your home page
On you navigation bar
In a dedicated section of your site
Other areas, where our service would be useful, e.g. leisure, shopping or e-commerce
